I
started playing guitar at 16, and bass at 18.
I've been playing the drums since I was 18 as
well (which is what I do in Rory Breaker). I was
put there because I was in a band and deemed the
most musically inclined to be thrust behind the
drums (since the band had no drummer). Since then
I've been in such bands as the 27s, Shelden, For
Years Apart, A Great Day To Die, and FKOA. I'm
also currently involved in a project called Death
List Five. Influences (i.e. what you hear when
I play) are Bill Stevenson, Josh Freese, and Kenny
Arnoff. I love to play, Breaker is always busy
with new material and shows but every vancant
moment is filled by another project or constant
practice. It's important, if you're a musician,
to be versatile. I use the same Premier late 80s
model drums I've had since I started playing,
I like them and I cant afford anything else. I
use cheap, light drumsticks of any brand and zildjian
and sabian cymbals.
