Adira began performing with her family when she could hold a rattle. She continues to perform with her father David, brother Adam(of The New York Howl) and sister Alana at such festivals as The Kerville Folk Festival, Lowell Celebrates Kerouac and The Woodie Guthrie Festival. In March of 2007 she performed in Austin, Texas at South By Southwest with her sister's band Alana Amram and The Rough Gems. A SUNY Purchase graduate, Adira's acting has been featured in the Off-Off Broadway show "Door Wide Open"starring John Ventimiglia. Most recently she was seen on the Soprano's as Stacey and can be seen on VH1's Best Night Ever. Her musical comedy has been selected by Jane Magazine as one of the editor picks for May 2006. Her first solo show "Adira Amram is Glitterally Speaking: Her Greatest Hits" was performed at the Galapagos Art Space in May of 2006. Her second solo show "Adira Amram is: An American Idol" ran at the PIT for the month of October in 2006. In 2007 she began performing in the Sketch Show "Get Psyched!", created by Rob Lathan, at the UCB Theatre in NYC and LA. She is currently working on her new CD tentativly titled "Hot Jams for Teens Volume 3".
